Major damage. Two engines were shot out, forcing the plane to land on the continent.

Landed in Belgium at Station A-97. 

S/Sgt John Frey (RW) KIA.

Surviving crew were picked up by the Blum crew in 789 and returned to Mendlesham at 1756 hours.
