Ralls crew

 

NOTE: The Ralls crew was the first to arrive at Mendlesham. They carried Maj. Boyd, the 18BS CO, as their passenger for the trip to England. They were determined to beat the Group CO, Wackowitz, to Mendlesham and did so by two days. (Clayton B. Gabel in MM, March 1988, p.5)
