Prillman's personal notes on the missions flown over Germany while he was a waist gunner with the 34th Bomb Group, 7th Squadron:

  1. December 6th,    Merseburg    - Roughest in EYO, OIL
  2. December 11th,  Geisen  -  Rail yards
  3. December 15th, Hanover - Rail yards
  4. December 28th, Frankfurt - Bridges , Moderate Flak
  5. December 30th, Misburg - Oil Refineries  - Roughest mission flown so far. Lots of flak, Saw B-17 Spin down  & explode, two planes lost.
  6. January 2nd, Bad Kreuznach - Easy mission, pasted small town, very little flak
  7. January 3rd, Pforshiem - Rail yards, easy mission, no flak
  8. January 8th, Bielefeld - Rail yards, no flak, PFF    ( no more dates after this in his notebook)
  9. BischofshiempMainz, Alt. 26,900 ft, -50C,  10 -250 el, flak holes, really close flak, couldn't release bombs
  10. Augsburg, Rail yards, Alt 23,000ft. Moderate flak, saw Alps,  8 hour mission
